6 Months!
Charity is 6 months! She has changed my world! At first, life was so difficult trying to meet her infant needs. But I can truly say now that it is a joy to be a mom. 6 months is by far my favorite age yet. We took some pictures on her 6 month mark. Enjoy!

Our Christmas and plans for the new year!
I was excited to post these pictures on my blog because Cameron got me a nice camera for Christmas! We had a great Christmas in Utah, starting with a gender reveal party for Cameron's family. Cameron and I found out the gender earlier that week but kept it a secret to surprise his family. We also surprised my parents before driving up to Utah. His mom and dad cut a cake covered in lots of frosting to cover the color of the cake-pink cake meant girl and blue meant boy. His aunts and uncles and cousins were there too, so it was a big audience. Of course, they discovered we will be adding another granddaughter to the Simonsen clan. The rest of our time was spent hanging out with family, doing fun activities. Cameron and I drove up to Idaho a couple days before Christmas for one of his interviews for residency and we stayed with my good friend Kortney and her husband. Christmas morning was so great with snow falling and Cameron's family together. It was exciting to get gifts wrapped for our baby girl. We like the name Charity May for her because it has special meaning to both of us and it just feels like her name. It's as though she already had a name and we were just trying to figure it out. I'm so overwhelmed these days with joy and happiness that at times it fills my eyes with tears thinking of how much I am blessed. God is so good to me and in control of my life. Watching our baby girl move around during the sono was such a special moment and I feel so bonded to her knowing she is a girl and will have the same experiences I had growing up.
Now its a new year and a big year for us. Our baby girl is due May 13th and Cameron graduates from medical school May 16th! In March we will find out where Cameron got matched for residency and move there some time in the beginning of the summer, after the baby comes and Cameron graduates. Then we will have a new adventure in a new place with a new daughter, hopefully not too far from family. Oh and I almost forgot, we will be moving in March from our apartment we've lived in since we got married to my parents house. Our rent is up in March, so we will live with my parents just a couple months until we move wherever Cameron's residency is. I am so proud of my husband and so grateful for him in my life. As I write tears fall, haha I'm a baby these days. Thanks for being a part of our lives, whoever reads this. God bless you in this year, 2015!!
