I finally have time to blog! Finals week is this week. I have one final down, one to go! yay! It has been a very stressful semester. But now I am glad it is over and I can enjoy getting ready for my wedding! I am getting married next month, wow that is crazy! I am so excited though. I am so glad I am getting married to Cameron Simonsen. He is wonderful. This Sunday we are giving our "leaving singles ward to get married" talks, but not really of course we have spiritual topics. But this is such a huge transition in my life. Most of the time I don't think about the huge transition it is because I am caught up being in love with Cameron. But then when I think, I will be a married woman, it is crazy because it makes me feel old, haha. Anyway, love is great and I am glad I found my soul mate!

Trust in the Lord.
I can't believe it. Sometimes I just cry for joy when I realize it IS true, that my life IS completely awesome. So this past week and a half have been crazy crazy. I got into TCU's nursing program by a fluke that the director says never happens. They had a few spots open when they thought they were completely full and I was on the waiting list. So two Thursdays ago I got a call form the director, Zoranna Jones, asking me if I wanted to join the program this fall that started the following Monday...BIG news huh. I took a few minutes to think about it, then I said yes! I was going to have to wait an entire 9 months before starting the accelerated one and did not know what I was going to do in all that time. So I was happy, you can imagine. There was so much to do. I have to CLEP test out of two prerequisites in two weeks, then I'm officially in. But I am going to classes and clinicals in the meantime and I love it! I feel so blessed. The Lord completely intervened in my life. And not only in that way, but in all things. Things such as dating....Things such as dating this really really cute boy that just amazes me. We cuddled last night and held hands and just had so much fun. We can just talk forever. We have not kissed yet. But its good to take it slow anyway. Gotta make him work for it right? He might kiss me tonight though... :) He goes to Med school here in Fort Worth and is in my ward. I have known him for like a month about. He graduated from BYU in April like me, but I had never met him before. Crazy huh. Well, I just know Heavenly Father loves me and I can't even express how great it makes me feel. No matter what happens from this point on, I know all I need to do is trust in the Lord.

Stressful Nothingness
I never would have guessed that my stress levels would INCREASE after graduating college. So many kids look forward to that day as the day all their stress goes away. But for me it was the opposite. Now I have to think about getting a job, what my career is going to be, what I am going to do with myself, what I want to be, what I'm going to make of myself as an adult. When I was in school, I had a routine, I had friends, parties, school work, school job, tests and church and it was simple. Now I feel like I am building from ground zero. The worst part is I don't really know what I want to do (career wise). But it is a good experience, its a challenge. Looking back, having things to do is a good thing. Not having specific things to do stresses me out. Part of me just likes to be told what to do. Decisions are tough. Because if I make a decision and end up not liking it I beat myself up because I could have chosen something else. But at the same time, its so great that we can choose. Choice is a gift from God. And I think, I'm glad I can choose who I want to be. I can be anything. Anyway, just some food for thought.

compilation post

I went to a Bruno Marz concert last weekend and it was awesome!! I got teary-eyed when he was singing the "just the way you are" song because it was a cool moment since I love that song. I was there with my Mom and it was a memorable night especially since we had a mix up and a woman told us to go to Suite 12 where there was nice good set up and really nice couches and view of the concert that we had all to ourselves. However, that really wan't where our tickets got us, but we enjoyed it for a good 20 minutes. Our club access just meant we got to go int to the club which was on the suite level. But we just sat in our nose bleed seats anyway. Fun Fun!
